ChatGPT has an "Archive" feature.
Although ChatGPT automatically saves your usage history unless you delete it manually, finding specific chats can become cumbersome over time. If you keep important conversations in an archive, it will be easier to revisit them later.
If you accidentally close a chat window while using ChatGPT, you can also retrieve it from the archive. Here's how you can use the archive feature.
Saving to the Archive
To save a chat to the archive, click the three dots next to your ChatGPT history, and select "Save to Archive."
Finding Your Archived Records
You can find your archived ChatGPT history by going to your profile in the top-right corner. Then, navigate to 'Settings' > 'General' > 'Manage' under 'Archived Chats.'
as you see, You can also choose to archive all your chats.
In the "Archived Chats" list, click on the title of a specific chat to open it. If you click the icon inside the pink box, the chat will be moved back to the original chat list (on the left side of the ChatGPT window).
Be careful—clicking the trash icon will delete the chat permanently.
